About Me

Hi, I'm Hector. I am a full-stack software engineer and a recent bootcamp graduate from the Rithm School. Prior to software engineering, I was pursuing graduate school to study physical therapy. After submitting my applications, I used my newfound time to revisit programming, an interest I had cultivated during college as a Computer Science minor. Having thoroughly enjoyed the cerebral processes of designing and implementing good code, I now aim to do so in a professional environment.

Born and raised in San Francisco, I attended UC Davis and graduated with a degree in Pharmaceutical Chemistry and a minor in Computer Science. When I'm not playing with code, you'll often find me lifting heavy stuff in the gym or exploring the great outdoors.
